The name “Teriyaki Mate” is the merging of two great cultures.  Teriyaki – is the  Japanese word emerging from Teri = to glaze,Yaki= to grill and Mate is the Australian word for friend.  Hence our philosophies of simplicity, healthy eating and friendship.
